Kate Barranco: A Hopeful Changemaker

I am a passionate advocate for trauma-informed leadership and systems change, working at the intersection of social innovation, equity-centered design, and intergenerational well-being. My experience across various sectors includes designing and facilitating workshops, conducting qualitative research, and crafting actionable strategies that empower diverse stakeholders. I am committed to fostering social impact and well-being through my work, leveraging systems thinking and technology to enhance measurable outcomes (quantitatively and qualitatively).

I dedicate my work to transforming how we care for both communities and leaders, including our youngest leaders and community members, with a focus on ensuring that leaders are equipped to care for their whole selves—especially in times of crisis—so they can better support the well-being of those they serve. Grounded in my research on intergenerational trauma and diversity-driven leadership, I believe meaningful change comes from creating inclusive, empathetic environments where both individuals and systems can heal and thrive. Through my work, I aim to inspire hope and foster resilience in the face of complex global challenges.
