As a college application tutor, I prioritize a holistic approach that centers on mental health and deep personal reflection. Understanding that the college application process can be overwhelming, I guide students to explore their values, passions, and aspirations, encouraging them to articulate their authentic selves. By creating a safe and supportive environment, I help students navigate the emotional challenges of this pivotal transition, allowing them to embrace their individuality and unique experiences.

My approach emphasizes the importance of self-discovery as students craft their narratives, fostering resilience and self-acceptance along the way, while understanding their unique individuality as opposed to crafting essays centered on ‘perfect’ stereotypes or the ‘trauma’ narrative.

As we collaborate, I provide tools and strategies for stress management and mindfulness, enabling students to approach their applications with confidence and clarity. Ultimately, my goal is not just to assist in gaining admission to college but to empower students to embark on a journey of personal growth and reflection that will serve them well beyond their academic pursuits.
